The Simple Society

The Simple Society brings together the best of Japanese and European design.

The Simple Society is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Tokyo and Berlin. Founded by Miki Kadokura and Tilmann Steffen Wendelstein, the studio has gained recognition for its work in brand identity. We especially love their design behind Go Itami's photo book: the A3 form and padding press binding means that each page, featuring a strikingly large photograph of a scene in Japan, can be torn out and kept as a poster.
