Pray for Japan

Remembering the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami three years on.

Today is the anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami which struck the coast of Tohoku three years ago. We ask you to join us in remembering the victims of the devastating damages of this natural disaster and its continuing repercussions today. 

Film-maker Thomas Kilburn visited the area six months after the earthquake, documenting its aftermath in this moving and insightful film. Created in partnership with the Japan Society and Links Japan, it was made possible with great support from the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation.
