Phil Cuttance: Faceture

We are big fans of Phil Cuttance's handmade creations.

We first met Phil Cuttance during London Design Festival where he had a stall selling candlesticks. His range of striking creations drew quite a crowd, and piqued our curiosity. Every object in his collection is made individually, a process which involves the casting of resin into a simple mould which is then manipulated into its final form. Not only are Cuttance's candlesticks visually exciting - distinctive in their geometric patterns - but they are also practical. His creations can serve, in turn, to hold up candles, to carry flowers, as light shades, trophies and even side tables. This simple design is completely unique, clean-cut and growing in global appreciation. You can get your hands on one of Cuttance's fantastic pieces in either Osaka or Tokyo.
