Suzuka Yoshida

Japanese artist Suzuka Yoshida visualises the daydreams of children in her latest set of paintings.

Have you ever wondered what other people's daydreams might look like? The minds of children, especially, must be filled with all sorts of wacky and whimsical things. In a series of paintings, artist Suzuka Yoshida imagines young people's daydreams, the effect of which is both sweet and utterly surreal. Children look wistfully on as whales swim passed their classroom windows, shadows form fascinating shapes against walls and rice paddies reflect the movements of the clouds while schoolboys stop and stare below. Allow yourself a daydreaming minute today to browse Yoshida's beautiful collection of paintings.
