Shota Nakamura

Playful coloured pencils and crayons drawings from Shoto Nakamura

We can't help but smile while looking through Shota Nakamura's portfolio of drawings. The Japanese artist, now based in Berlin, shows a deep-rooted interest in nature and abstract mark making, rendering trees, fields and mountain peaks in vivid colours. Nakamura’s playful depiction of natural landscapes are complemented by a series of imaginative titles; Oh Mountain!!, Play of Sunlight and In Praise of Slowness are some of our favourites.
