Rebecca Davies

Rebecca Davies engages with her local community in a number of innovative projects.

Illustrator Rebecca Davies has kept busy since graduating with an MA in Communication Art and Design in 2010. Only a year after leaving the RCA, she co-directed Studio, an initiative which was held at a shopping centre in Elephant and Castle. In Studio, Davies created an artistic space in which local people could express themselves, and her subsequent work has continued to show an interest in her community. Last year she toured the country in an ice cream van as part of a project designed to celebrate cultural rituals, both traditional and contemporary.
