Fumi Koike

Fumi Koike brings domestic scenes to life in a series of endearing illustrations.

Fumi Koike graduated from Musashino Art University in 2007, and has since made a name for herself with a portfolio of drawings depicting scenes of home and platefuls of food. With the aid of muted colours and canine protagonists, she portrays life in her hometown of Fukuoka. There is a simplicity to her illustrations which charms; we could happily look at her textured brushstrokes all day.
